Just Dive in

Thank you for considering SF SCUBA Schools for your dive training. To become a fully certified Open Water SCUBA Diver, you must complete the entire Open Water course. This course consists of three sections:

1 eLearning - You complete this on your own time, but it must be completed prior to your pool session. For most people, eLearning takes 10-16 hours to complete.
2 Pool Sessions - There are two options when it comes to pool sessions. The first option is a single-day accelerated class, the second option is the two-day standard course, which if the two-day option is picked, both days have to be scheduled in the same week. You can find course availability on the course calendar.
3 Ocean Dives - Weekend (Saturday/Sunday) in Monterey, where we will complete two dives per day for a total of 4 dives.

You Have the Option of Doing Either a Referral Course or the Full Course

A Referral Course is where you only do your eLearning and pool work with me. You then go someplace else to complete your open water dives. Many people choose this option if they are going somewhere tropical, like Hawaii, and would like to do their open water dives in warmer water.
The Full Course is just that. You do everything with me.

Course Costs:

Referral Course - $399.00 per student
Full course - $649.00 per student
Course fees include everything. eLearning, rentals for the pool. Rentals for the ocean are only $80 for the entire weekend. You will pay this the weekend of your ocean dives.
